Presenter Requests
Educators Rising® (EdRising) is a career and technical student organization (CTSO) that identifies potential teachers who are interested in exploring careers in the field of education. The 2024 Educators Rising® Virginia State Leadership Conference and Competitive Events will be hosted by Prince William County Schools and held at Potomac Shores Middle School, Saturday, March 2nd, from 8:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Educators Rising® members from school divisions throughout Virginia will compete in events and participate in conference activities. First and second place award recipients are eligible to represent the state and compete at the national conference to be held in Washington D.C., June 28 - July 1, 2024. The schedule for the day will also feature a keynote speaker, college admission representatives, best practices roundtables, and the closing awards session. We are expecting to have in attendance at least 300 high school student participants, their adult mentors, college and university representatives from the state, and members of the community.
To continue the success of this conference, we are asking for presenters to volunteer leading workshop sessions. If you would like to be a part of the day by participating as a presenter, please complete and submit the following online proposal form using the link below. Re-certification points will be available to presenters.
Workshop strands for the 2024 conference include:

• Advocating for the teaching profession
• Opportunities available in the community and civic engagement
