Call for Presenters
Please consider submitting a proposal to present a workshop during the Educators Rising – Virginia State Leadership Conference and Competition, Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Briar Woods High School, Ashburn. We are looking for workshops that emphasize the impact of teaching/teachers.
Your audience will be high school students from the Commonwealth who are currently enrolled in Virginia Teachers for Tomorrow. Each session will be 30 minutes in duration. There will be five workshops beginning at 9:00 AM and going until noon.
Suggested topics include Building Relationships, Cultural Awareness, Joy, Fun Formative Assessments, Road to Your Own Classroom and Freshman 101. You are highly encouraged to make your session interactive.
If you wish to be a presenter, please complete the form below no later than February 7, 2020.
NOTE: Presenters will not be paid nor will expenses be reimbursed for participating in this event; however, you will receive a participation certificate after the conference. Each presenter is responsible for providing handouts and manipulatives.
